New Aga for Fine dining on site

We have just had an Aga oven installed to further enhance our fine dining on site

So that we can provide an even better level of service and comfort when you explore, unwind, and rejuvenate at Ranginui Retreat we have just had an Aga oven installed to further enhance our fine dining on site . Susie has been trying it out and is super keen to provide guests with a way of cooking that will allow her to use all the skills she learned from the cooking school she attended at Ballymaloe in Ireland.  

At Ranginui Retreat we have a passion for local food and produce and we are lucky here in the Wairarapa to have virtually everything on our doorstep. We use the freshest of produce with our potager vegetable garden and orchard supplying the kitchen with produce, backed up as required by fresh vegetables and fruit grown in the Wairarapa. We are also linking with Palliser Ridge who rear the most amazing lamb and beef on a beautiful farm in South Wairarapa. Lisa and Kurt were Ballance Farm Environment Award Supreme winners for Greater Wellington in 2019.
